The beginning ... 2 videos ... and the NYC skyline

The two videos --- Counting 1 to 10 and Straight Line Curve in RED --- are examples of my experimenting with developing basic concepts using widely available software. As you can see, I am just getting started.

I would like to work with others in creating widely available free "tools" for young minds for drilling the basic mathematical and science (M & S) concepts AND introducing intriguing (M& S) concepts to hook their interest.

And I chose the New York City theme for my page because I live in the NYC metropolitan area, a little over a thirty minutes on the NJ Transit Midtown Direct to Penn Station just north of the Village and south of Times Square. (Sorry about that --- *wink* --- but being a lil' ol' country boy from up above Duluth, Minnesota, I'm lovin' every minute.)

What software did you use to create your videos? I would love to try it out.

Well, Lisa ...
I was hoping someone would start helping me make the darn things a little clearer ...

Anyway, here goes. I created the graphics using PowerPoint on our Mac OS X ... then I used the "make a movie feature" ... and added audio with our Blue Snowball microphone.

In Powerpoint, I lined every thing up with lines I could then delete.

I'm thinking I'm going to have to take digital photos of printouts and make a movie of the slideshow in order to get the clarity I want.

But if I get to set up a met tower< i will probably put off this stuff for awhile.

Cheers,
Hilding
