In our district, once that last bell goes off signaling the beginning of summer, those of us on the "wires and pliers" side of things get kicked into high gear. Our administration has been progressive enough to find ways to add technology to our buildings, which is great. I am now finding that adding 300 machines to our inventory is no small task for our staff of two. I haven't even taken the time to get my new macbook set up yet,
I hear it is a great machine though. The long and short of this is that we've got roughly 10 weeks to upgrade, update, and implement over 700 machines in our small district, two of those are spent
training staff and one is for
training me. I'm curious how bigger districts are able to manage all of this. So we are not unlike the farmers in our rural area.....looking forward to the winter and a little time to think.
