Well, since mid-June I have been blogging along (laubsblog) and learning fast...as a career educator (33 years) I have been guided (dragged is more like it...) into the field of Educational Technology by well meaning mentors (Darren Draper, most noteworthy...) and awakened to the possibilities of ALL technology...sheesh...am I learning fast. But, even though it is boggling my mind, I love teaching enough (STILL...after all these years...) to try to keep learning. And, I really appreciate interacting with all of you who are willing to help me learn...

Thank you for your comments...you're right about the time flying! I always advise teachers in mid-stream it seems like 30 will NEVER arrive...kick back and enjoy the ride, particularly if you're planning on staying in for 30...now that I'm there, and still (relatively!) young, I'm having a ball...the ONLY way to fly!

Oh...and the chairs...a SERIOUS hobby...I drive to Beaver (about three hours south of Salt Lake...) and have Fish Lake Lumber saw Douglas Fir logs into 1" slices (c'mon, Ann, you can't buy good lumber at Lowe's...) at 200-300 board feet at a time...enough for 8-9 sets...keeps me busy for awhile...
You can't eat in Springdale (Zion's National Park) without sitting on my furniture...
