Backchannel

I did not attend NECC 07 in Atlanta but I have been following it through blog posts, podcasts etc. It was so interesting to hear about the Blog Cafe and the skype backchannel. I love the idea and have even heard of its use in the classroom. Just wondering what people are thinking about this new way of participating.

I am ever so thankful for David Jakes posting in his blog "The Strength of Weak Ties" an invitation to skype in to him to be added to the chats. Its was almost as good as being there. I blogged about it myself all week the week of BLC, and even some this week. You can read the posts from the archives to see just how excited i was. Even Ewan McIntosh replied to one!! Talk about making my day!
