At Long Last, Gumby

Well, almost... I've finally uploaded some of the films created by teachers in my class on Integrating Technology in the Open Court curriculum at the Los Angeles County Office of Education. They are filed under the appropriate units. In particular, check out: First grade, Keep Trying Second grade, Fossils and Look Again Third Grade, Friendship Fourth Grade, Survival, Mystery to Medicine , and Communication. The Clay Animation portion of the class was taught by Carolyn Daly of Tech4Learning who does a terrific job. We are teaching the class again as I write this so expect more movies soon. I also found Kevin Hodgson's site where he teaches Animation to children in animation camp and produces some great results. There are also additional examples on Tech4Learning's web site.
