Just recently I have been exploring the potentials of Web 2.0 and the newest developments for social networking. As I set up my Google strands within my search engine to find the most relevant innovations in my Web 2.0 quest I locked onto a hyperlink discussing Seadragon and Photosynth. The overview on Ted Talks demonstrates how two software applications can be integrated to produce multidimensional microscopic images on one screen for the future potentials of requested meta tags.
Photosynth is software that allows for a large collection of photos made of a specific place that can be reconstructed into a three-dimensional space, from any angle, of a specific object. By linking a multitude of photos taken over a span of time you can begin to understand how Web 2.0 becomes a contribution to social networking of new creations.
