Introductions

Greetings, my name is Jim Stewart and I have been an elementary technology teacher for the past seven years. I teach kindergarten through fourth grade students. This year, my district combined my position with that of the media/library specialist.

I would like to know your thoughts on combining technology teacher with media/library specialist. What are the pros/cons that you have experienced. Also, what do you use to effectively assess student learning. For third and fourth grades, I use Quia online to track student test scores. I find it more challenging to effectively assess the lower grades.
