University Visitor's Network: A Valuable Resource Tool for School Counselors, Prospective College Students, Parents, and Teachers
University Visitor’s Network is a new information portal for college-bound students, enrolled students, parents and school counselors that not only provides the necessary information regarding academics and cost for each school, it also includes a broad palette of photos, videos, and links that paint an informative picture of the lifestyle on campus and the local community, giving students the ability to make informed choices about their future in college.
Pages such as Prepare Me for College, For Parents, Financial Services/Scholarships, Study Abroad & Gap Year, and Green Scene/Get Involved, are abundantly populated with useful information in the form of videos, articles, blogs, live-news feeds, book recommendations, and resource links to the best website information available. UVN also includes 27 interactive micro-websites of Online University Visitors Guides, allowing students and parents to visit colleges without leaving the house. UVN is the most comprehensive college search profile available; the go-to web destination when it comes to preparing for and selecting a college.
University Visitor’s Network also aims to serve Professional School Counselors with the Counselor’s Corner page, providing information about college admissions as well as enabling communication between counselors around the country through links, videos, and blogs.
Our mission at UVN is to provide quality information to college-bound students as
well as the educators who care about their future. I encourage you to share this website with school counselors, teachers, students, and parents in your community, and would appreciate you forwarding this email to your colleagues. Please contact me with any comments or questions.
Sincerely,
Jessica Pitts
