I think you have a great point here. I feel like when the students read the AUP they hear, "wahn wahn wahn wahn-wahn," but the "I language" of the digital citizenship agreement helps the students to internalize it. I think it is easier for students to understand and means more to them. I also think that it is less wordy and easier for students to remember how they should be conducting themselves.
