A good movie takes good teamwork, and a team of young filmmakers who are strong believers in teamwork are currently launching a filmmakers co-op just for that reason. Mike Denman and Aaron Anderson, both based in Seattle, started Team Awesome for both "filmmakers and non-filmmakers," as Denman said.
"We want to create a place where people can go, free of clients, free of boundaries, to express themselves, and apply it to their work," Anderson said.
An example of that was their most recent project, which was a finalist in the Nikon Festival Contest.
They both agree that Team Awesome is "just a bunch of regular people getting together to make something awesome."
"It's fun," Denman said," and it keeps us off the street."
