I just watched and listened to a Classroom 2.0 recording of Linda Yollis, a blogger and teacher with 25 years of experience. She has integrated technology into her classroom using blogs. Her students blog with each other, their parents, and students across the world. She made it seem so easy, starting before the first day with an email to her students to watch a YouTube welcome video. Along with her students, she gave the steps on how to write a quality comment. She integrates language arts with grammar lessons, math with word problems and digital photography, and for social studies she gave an example of writing a letter as the person you are studying. All of the information she shared is in a livebinder. I was impressed and throughtly enjoyed the recording.
