I feel like both assignments were good to show creativity and uniqueness for an individual student. When doing the character poster, we used excel. This way I thought was an okay way to create a poster but is very simplistic in its use. On the other hand sometimes simplistic is better. Glogster I found was a lot easier to use and provided a wider range of resources and could be very complex. When it came down to use, I liked glogster better than excel. I feel like excel would be better used just for more business uses (graphs, numbers, percentages, etc.) while the glogster would be a better use for students to make presentations more lively and easier to follow. Administrative and professional I would say have used excel more but as technology continues to grow i think glogster and other things like it will be on the rise for what is used to show presentations. It can make it easier to show charts, graphs, and videos to help inform people in the companies they work for. This will also save paper because glogster is just on the internet while excel one would have to print all the work they had done. Last but not least is the resources one can use. Glogster allows basically any source to use. One simply just has to type into google what they want and use it. We have to source it of course!! This makes things even easier. After talking about both excel and glogster, if I have not already said which one I like better then Glogster is the one I will use moving forward.
