China's Great Firewall
I am frustrated by the number of great things that are blocked here in China. Does anyone have experience of alternatives to things such as google docs, facebook, twitter, google image search and diigo? Theses are all currently blocked. Also does anyone have any links to persuasive information about using VPNs or alternatives as we are not allowed to use them in school.

Try to use Tor Browser (https://www.torproject.org/projects/torbrowser.html.en) and see if you can access blocked pages. I use it myself very often.
