Hi,

Here is my comparison blog I put on Classroom2.0 I have included the link. I have attached the AUP I used it is for a school.

 Preamble

The section gives a nice explanation of the schools overall conduct code. It explains that the resources are for education use only.

Definition Section

This policy did not utilize a definition section it was lacking in this area.

Policy Statement

To gain access to the Internet, all students under the age of 18 must obtain parental permission and must sign and return this form.  Students 18 and over may sign their own forms.

Acceptable Uses Section

The policy does not elaborate in great detail in this area it focus primarily on what you can’t do.

Unacceptable Uses Section

The policy goes into great length to spell out what unacceptable behavior is and makes it clear.

Violations/Sanctions Section

The policy has a clear set of Consequences for Unacceptable Use.

It seems that the definition section is an imporatnat piece as that leaves things upto interpetation and we all know that if you ask 3 peoples opinion about something you will get 5 opinions :-)
