Image editors are rampant in the Web 2.0 world. While most of them are free, so many seem geared to really basic editing: crop, resize, and get-rid-of-red-eye. So, it's a thrill to run across a full-featured, robust online program that is simple enough for young students and sophisticated enough for graphics geeks. My benchmark for a superior graphics program is whether it supports layers. Layers are the key to subtle and complex graphic design imagery. Sumo Paint does all that and more. A quick trip through the drop-down menus shows a very nice range of options that make this Web 2.0 program a gem. Check it out!
