I believe that the videos and the articles were spot on.  The realm of education is shifting from paper/pencil to mouse/keyboard.  I now know that I am a digital immigrant.  I have some of the latest technology, such as an iPhone, but I don't really know how to use it to the fullest.  I often find myself asking my students how to do things like download music.  I feel that they teach me as much about technology as I teach them about Biology!  I am in awe of the technological prowess of my students.  I would love to incorporate more technology into my classroom, and am currently exploring any and all options available to me.  I completely agree with the Web 2.0 article in that we teachers need to start to shift the way we deliver information to maximize our students' learning.  However, I'm not able to write software to create computer games that my students could play to help them learn Biology.  I'm struggling enough with posting blogs and homework on Moodle for this class, I can't imagine trying to create a vidoe game!  This course so far has really opened my eyes to the need for me to "catch up" to the rest of the world and get myself up to speed on the latest technology.

I would encourage you to look into learning to program...It could be a second career ; )
