Dog Ate My Homework?

Lately, a common frustration among my coworkers is that students are not doing their homework. Although I rarely have homework in art class, I can understand your frustrations. I just came across this blog on Classroom2.0, which simply posed the question, "What are the positives and negatives of using a blog in the classroom?"

I have been tossing around the idea of a class blog for several months now, but haven't taken the leap yet. I wonder if some of the core subject area teachers changed up the homework assignments a little bit to incorporate a class blog, maybe they might get better responses?
