eReaders/Computers -The next best thing.

With the ipad now on the market we will see some serious competition and innovation for a book reader/computer that will actually be useful to educators and students. The purpose of this post is to simply gather information about eReaders that will work in schools. Since Apple has made billions in the consumer market it is unlikely that we will see a suitable product from them for education. Ideally, what I would like to see is a device that is a book reader for textbooks and any other publications (preferably in color), a computer that can run standard productivity apps with tablet and inking annotation functionality, wi-fi web browsing, download capability, and multimedia-viewing. I'd like to start a list of products to watch. I'm sure lists already exist somewhere, but this list should be primarily focused on educational needs. Here are a few that may hold some promise although none of them are quite there yet:
