Exploring New Social Networks

Honestly, I have never heard of Ning.  I can understand the usefulness as far as networking and learning from peers.  But, it may take me awhile to become a regular user.  I have been a Facebook user for many years and it is a habit to "check my page" several times a day.  Could Ning become as addictive?  Maybe...
