On behalf of the students and teachers at the Flat Classroom Conference held here in Qatar last weekend I invite you to review the resources available online output from the event on and hyperlinked from the Flat Classroom Conference Ning. In particular I invite you to VOTE NOW for one of the four finalist student teams. Their videos and wikis are linked form the top of the Ning. Voting is open until February 3. We want to take ONE of these ideas and transform it inot a global collaborative project for classrooms around the world. Which one do YOU think will do this the best?

A big thank you to Steve Hargadon for helping to organise recording of some virtual events, including live sessions with Tom Friedman and Don Tapscott who interacted with the students. Recordings of these sessions are available on the Future of Education Ning.

It almost goes without saying, but I need to say it for those who were not there or those who did not manage to interact virtually through our numerous backchannel sessions and uStreamed events, that this conference proved to be cutting edge brought together, face-to-face global classrooms, teachers, students, administrators etc in conversation, discussion and action-based activities and used Web 2.0 and emerging technologies like no other conference has ever done before. Explore the reflections and comments on the Ning, explore also our Virtual wiki.
