Geogebra is a free and open source geometry program, similar in function to Geometer's sketchpad. It also allows for exporting your work to a web friendly format.

This coming Wednesday March 25th, either between 7am to 10am or 1pm to 5pm I plan on running an online workshop on how to use Geogebra. This will have to be limited to the first 20 participants as I am using the free online and screen-sharing website, http://dimdim.com (which has a limit of 20 people for free meetings).

Okay, cool. I'll be online 30 minutes earlier to iron out any bugs and make sure everything is working on my end. I ran the audio wizard before, and it helped get my microphone working better.

Looking forward to this, now I just need a few more participants to sign up!

LOL, sorry wasn't reading carefully there. I see you wrote 8pm my time (still Wednesday my time I am assuming). That will be fine as well, I will need to reschedule something that would have been running in that time slot, but it is a very easy to shuffle type of thing - I am teaching my mom how to use MS Office and Moms are pretty flexible. LOL.

Hrmm, actually I am 12 hours later than you, so that would be Tuesday your time. Hope that still works, you are being very accommodating here.

I'm afraid I have to cancel this event, my father just died. We'll postpone it for later.

Oh dear! I am so sorry about your loss. Definitely, postpone it. Should you want to try again, just let me know. My prayers are with you and your family.

I am really interested in this program. I spent some time looking around the website and the wiki for Geogebra. What time zone are we talking about here? I am Eastern Standard time in the US and 7AM is a little earlier than I can mentally function!

Well this session has been postponed for at least a couple of weeks. Starting in May I'll have a lot more free time as two of my classes will be over.
