Google Doc Surveys

In my class I made a Google Doc Survey and had over 60 responses. I believe that when I become a teacher that I can use this so make surveys for my students to take or have my students make the surveys and let other students in the class take each other surveys. Is there any other way you all can think of that students or teachers could use Google Doc surveys in the classrooms?
