Perhaps all the more reason to especially stress the integration of digital tools into classrooms. In schools matching the demographic this article refers to it is possible that this could be the only exposure these children have to digital tools. When I was growing up in the 60's and 70's access to educational opportunities was the difference for "non-whites" or members of minority groups. Me, I'd like to be on the cutting edge of providing that opportunity!
