Kidspiration

This past week in Ed. Tech we got to work with various kinds of children’s computer software programs. It was definitely my favorite class so far! One of the types of software programswe got to work with was Kidspiration. Kidspiration is a children’s computer program that aids children through offering various computer activities based on subjects such as reading and writing, math, science and social studies. One of the applications of Kidspiration allows children (or college students in an Ed. Tech class) to create web diagrams. The assignment for this week was to create a web using Kidspiration. I chose to do my web diagram on one of the things most dear to my heart…Ice cream. I created a web diagram displaying around 20 different ice cream flavors, from plain old vanilla to rocky road and chocolate macadamia.
