Listen! Now I´m talking! A project about language, media and democracy with 7th graders from the southern suburbs of Stockholm, Sweden

Listen! Now I’m talking! is about language and democracy.
48 7th graders have a very concrete mission:
Make up your mind about an opinion that you are passionate
about, something that you think should be changed, be improved, be highlighted
or be banned! You should in words and pictures propagate your opinion and
convince as many people as possible that your opinion is correct!

Lillholmsskolan is an elementary school in the southern Stockholm suburb of Skärholmen, with 650 students aged 6 to 15.

A large majority of them have an immigrant background. We want to spread their opinions as well in Sweden as abroad. An exhibition will open in Stockholm in April, consisting of the students argumentative texts and photoshop posters arguing for their cause. We are going to translate the material into English, with the aim of opening an exhibition, online or in a museum or school. Who would be interested? All suggestions welcome!
