You Make The Difference!

National Make a Difference Day celebrates its 20th year on Saturday, October 23, 2010. The national event is sponsored by the HandsOn Network, USA Weekend and Newman's Own. The celebration is designed to inspire, equip and mobilize corporations, nonprofit organizations, families and individuals to improve their communities and encourage volunteerism thorughout the year. Make a Difference Day is also the largest national day of community service and is focused on neighbors helping neighbors. Millions of Americans unite in a common mission to improve the lives of others on this special day. When we think of all the support needed for education, this national celebration certainly lends itself to these purposes!
