Each student at JCHS is included in a mentor group comprised of 6-8 grade peers and one faculty member. Mentor groups meet weekly throughout the students' 4 years at JCHS to ensure that each young adult forms relationships with both educators and peers that he or she can turn to for listening, advice or advocacy. The role of the Faculty Mentor also comes into play during the scheduling process for the following year in assisting the student to select his or her courses.8 grade peers and one faculty member.
