I have taken quite a few learning style and personality tests in my college experience. The MII, Multiple Intelligence Inventory, produced results that were both expected and surprising. At the top of my list was Music (45) with Interpersonal not too far behind. Though I really enjoy music, especially playing the piano, I would have guessed Interpersonal or Body/Kinesthetic to have been the first. The MII pointed to my hands-on learning style, which is completely accurate. In order for me to be able to grasp something I have to DO it; not watch someone else do it or simply hear it. Because of this, Math (and Science) has always been my weakest subject - it got my lowest ranking (31) in the MI Inventory. I find it really interesting doing evaluations like these. Though I do not trust their results as completely accurate, there is always at least a little something to learn from them.
