The five websites that I've chosen for my webpage are:

1) http://www.lingoz.com/en/
I included this websote for two of my students, who spend half of their day learning in a foreign language. I find that their parents are often not available to help them with their homework in this area, for a number of reasons. On days that I am not at their house I have a feeling their homework does not get done. This site gives them access to two-way translations and the option to submit words to be translated, should they not already be posted. I think this will help them by providing them with a way to become actively involved with the language, as well as the general day-to-day help they seem to need.

2) http://bookalesson.com/
I included this site so that my students will know when I am available to help them outside of our regularly scheduled meeting times. They can sign up for a session with me and I will be notified as soon as they do so. This gives them some control over their schedules and gives them a forum to ask for extra help when they need it.

3) http://www.notely.net/
I love this website! Most of my students have problems staying organized. Not only does this site help them with that, it gives me an opportunity to check and see if they are staying on top of things. It eliminates the lost planner/agenda problem, as well as the multiple planner/agenda problem, which arises as soon as a planner/agenda is lost and then found.

4) http://www.showdocument.com/
This is another great website! If a student can put it on the computer, we can work on it online. The site gives us the opportunity to have web meetings regarding their papers, journals, projects, and pretty much anything else they are working on. It even allows us to search the web together. It's perfect for crises that arise on days we don't meet.

5) http://www.wikisend.com/
If a student wants to send me something to look over this is a great site for them to do so. All they have to do is upload their work and send it to me. It's simple to use, which is great. I can review their work and have it ready to go over with them next time I meet with them.
