Parent Letter

Dear Parent or Guardian,

It is my first year at Winona Elementary so I wanted to take some time to introduce myself and let you know how excited I am to work with your child this semester. I graduated from Missouri State University in 2015 with a degree in Elementary Education. I am currently on Winona Park Board and love to help out the community and the children.

I am excited to teach second grade this year and cannot wait to meet your child. Second grade is such a special age and I’m honored to be teaching them. This year they will be learning math, language arts, history, and science. I will send out a newsletter weekly that will go into more detail about what your children are learning. I know that every student in my class will learn and grow!
