Parting thoughts about Social Media 101

I was introduced to Classroom 2.0 through the professional development course Social Media 101, which has just ended. I have to say this has been one of the most useful professional development courses I've taken for quite some time. I've enjoyed learning about using sites such as this one to connect with other educators who can point me in the right direction if I'm looking for answers, or with whom I can share information that I might have which they might find useful. The format is pretty easy to use, although I am still fumbling around a little bit trying to get where I think I want to go...but I also know that when I have more time (summer!!!), I will be able to get more familiar.
I also enjoyed learning about Twitter, although I'm far too wordy to use it well yet. I'm working on it! It's great for those who don't want to read through blog posts like this. Short thoughts and links to interesting material. I'll look more for people and organizations I want to follow, and I'll check into TweetDeck once I have time to do that.
Seems a common denominator for most of us is that we just can't find the time we'd like to spend researching tools such as these. So funny that people think teachers have such short hours!!
