Entering Activity: As students enter, they will get either a green or pink sheet. This sheet has 10 multiple choice questions over a selection in the procedural readings we are doing this six weeks. I will assign three rows to do the first five and three rows to do the second five.
Anticipatory Set: Students will copy today’s agenda and we will go over the answers to the sponge to review with the students the selection we read.
Teaching and Learning: I will go over that we will be reading some workplace documents today. I will teach students about business letters, email memos, and email directories.
Guided Practice: Students and I will answer six multiple choice questions together about the workplace documents.
Independent Practice: Students will answer four constructed response questions.
Closing: I will ask students which type of workplace document we discussed today they feel the most comfortable with. I will have them raise their hands and I will be able to see which documents the students need to work more with.
