Hello,
I am a 4th and 5th grade learning support teacher. I have a few students who have challenges with print size and their vision. I was recently reading an article about a federally funded program named Book Share which allows students with print specific disabilities the chance to instantly download, enlarge print, and have a computer generated voice read the book out loud. The books are free to the students and are available on the program the same day that it is uploaded on Amazon or iTunes.
I am writing about this because I would love to register some of my students for this program but I did not know how stiff the qualification was. I am asking for anyone who has registered with this program to share some experience with me.
Was it challenging to have students qualify?
Was difficult it was to set up?
Are there any challenges or great features that make this program a must use?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
