In the videos 'A vision of K-12 Students today'' and Why is it Important'. I had to stop the video MANY times to think about all the facts that they are giving the viewer. My first thought is about CCSS, and how we as a nation need re-evaluate what, how, and when we are teaching out kiddos. I then reflected upon how I run my classes, what can change to make my classroom more relevant to the kids I come across everyday(subject, delivery, evaluation, hook). I feel that I do a great job of making mathematics 'Fun'; we talk, we play, we change the rules, we play, and then we talk about our outcomes.

Mathew, I stopped the video several times as well and thought about the facts they stated.  I even showed it to my 16 year old.  He said they watched similar video in his Global Affairs class that sort of stated the opposite of some of the facts.  It's such an interesting topic and something we as educators need to have more time to evaluate.
