Doing this late Sunday night, and it has to be moderated, so it may appear to be late--but, it's not.
This was an easy session for sure. We had a fog day which allowed me to take a day off work and finish up my share the wealth....that put me at a considerable advantage over some. I see now that we are to comment on other people's share-the-wealth presentations in session seven...and here I am about done with that. Most posted this afternoon and I'm going through them this evening. I'm enjoying everyone else's presentations, but, particularly Rachel H's --because I get to hear her kid's voices, and Eric, because I get to hear his and see pictures he has taken. I'm impressed with the power of VoiceThread to make things personal and thereby draw the viewer in. I think I'll have to start pushing that tool more.
At this point I'm uncertain as to if I'll get any additional feedback on my portfolio--I see it was "accepted" but, did Nadyne have any comments, any suggestions before sending it on...it does go on to some national board for review, correct?
I have to tell you that it seems like I could spend everyday from now ;til the end of the school year just organizing and categorizing all the resources I've come across in Capstone, from my PLN, and from the EdTech conference in Petersburg (sp?).
I'm going to make this a short blog entry and quit here. Somehow, amazingly, I had time for capstone, and time to cut enough wood to heat this winter (about 9 cord) and to tend to and ride my horse a decent amount. So, I didn't sacrifice everything for Capstone--a lot, yes, but not everything.
