While you would think this site is easy to use, unfortunately it's not that simple. I've been reading about Bloglines, and it seems to me exactly what I needed. A place where all my blogs can be gathered together so I can go to only one spot to get all the information I want, and read at my leisure. Instead of 50 million bookmarks to click on (OK so I'm exaggeration but pretty darn close to it), and going through my Delicious Account to access one at a time, I thought this would make it simpler for me. Right? Wrong.
I needed to learn more about this site. So what do you do? You do an Internet search. I found on line a paper by Quentin D'Souza at
http://www.TeachingHacks.com called Web 2.0 Tools for Teachers which explained everything, in detail (one of those books with a ton of pictures that visual learners need). Everything to help me set up my Bloglines. Thank you Mr. D'Souza. So now I'm at it. Following the instructions, understanding the process more, and getting it going. Now I'm up to 20 some blogs and counting and finally getting rid of some of my links....
Can you even describe the feeling when you get something going that you thought you might not be able to do? Neither can I. ;)
