I put over 130 miles on my minivan in ONE day this week just chauffeuring my two kids to ball games, practices, and "Driver's Ed" class. This time of year can be crazy, but I absolutely LOVE every minute of it!

Anyway, before the summer flies by, as it has a tendency to do each year, I'm writing down some goals to keep me focused.

Professional Goals:
1. Prepare for and lead session (Collaboration and Building a PLN) for Angela Maiers.
2. Prepare for and lead class (Reading Comprehension Strategies) for NWAEA.
3. Participate in online book discussion hosted by Scott McLeod.
4. Update my web site and blog.
5. Map out my Reading/Lang Arts and Soc.Studies curriculum.
6. Actively participate in and grow my PLN.

Personal Goals:
1. Stay on top of everyone's schedules and ENJOY spending time with family!
2. Do MAJOR amounts of "Spring Cleaning"inside and outside of house.
3. Eat at home whenever practical.
4. Read four 5th grade level novels, three adult novels, and 1Sam-2Kings of the Bible.
5. Redecorate 10 year old's bedroom (and try to find FLOOR of 14 year old's bedroom).

I can't help but feel I'm missing some things as I type this off the top of my head, but at least it's a start and I can always come back and edit this post once or twice.

How about YOU? What are some of your goals? What books will YOU be reading this summer?
