Technology Administrator/Computer Coordinator Questions

Greetings!  Do you have any guidance or recommendations for a current computer teacher, me, pursuing her administrative degree?  I would like to know from both sides of the fence what skills/tasks I should focus on as I plan my Internship activities.  I'm looking to become a Technology Administrator/Computer Coordinator.  What skill sets are common to this position?  What additional skill sets would benefit someone in this administrative position?
