Technology Administrator/Computer Coordinator Questions

Greetings! Do you have any guidance or recommendations for a current computer teacher, like me, pursuing her administrative degree? I would like to know from both sides of the fence what skills/tasks I should focus on as I plan my Internship activities. I'm looking to become a Technology Administrator/Computer Coordinator. What skill sets are common to this position? What additional skill sets would benefit someone in this administrative position? Thank you for taking the time to assist me in this endeavor!

Comment by Brian Rock on October 24, 2017 at 8:13am: One skillset that I can think of that might be required for an admin but not a computer teacher is network administration. Our computer tech at the school has to handle network issues, managing user log-ins, pushing out updates to computers remotely, etc.
