Drew asked us to write a blog about the book or any other topic...

So here's my thought on some aspects that the book brings up.
I guess I am just someone who has grown up with technology. I use it all the time, want the newest gadgets and have no problems picking up something and playing with the numerous small buttons on it. So in reading the first few chapters, it really opened my eyes to how technology has rocked the small things we do.

Looking at the media aspect, we now get news instantly. We can communicate with people around the world for free. Resources are really just a click away.
The story about the cell phone got me thinking. Although this was something small and replaceable, it created a whole community of people working for a cause, thanks to the web.

At the same time, I think the internet/technology has also created problems for people stealing others work, problems with people not thinking about human reactions and other social aspects. Most people consider technology a good thing- but it can also be used in negative ways. As a young person, I only thought positive. But now, especially with all the stories of cyber-bullying and such, it has made me throw up some caution to technology and how I use it.
