I am looking  forward to taking an I Pad class in the Spring.

Can anyone give me some feedback on how they use this technology in the classroom?

Hello Linda! iPads are a big hit in my school. The students LOVE them. We kind of let them have a free time with the iPads unless there is a specific lesson and app that we want them to use. There's thousand of apps for students. I would suggest doing some research first and try playing a few games yourself. Our computer resource specialist downloaded all of the apps for us before they were distributed to the classrooms. I hope this helps.

Thanks Kenisha

Great to hear your success with the iPads.  I like how your school downloaded the apps you wanted students to use beforehand.

ipads are handy, affordable and most importantly acts as an e-book reader/internet tool that can do almost everything from video editing to creating spreadsheets and emailing. That's the reason many schools and universities are introducing ipads in classrooms.
