Blooms, HOT, Digital Taxonomy all great indicators that education is continually transforming and moving forward.

Recently I taught a writing lesson and the kids were asked to publish as well. The writing was informational; however, the content was living organism. I tied this directly to science. I could have provided a guiding question, but instead I asked the students to create their own higher-level guiding question. This gave the students a chance to use the higher order thinking skills to create their research. I knew that if I gave a guiding question all of the students the information would all be the same.
