I appreciate the offer, but unfortunately, I am currently finished with student teaching. So as of right now, I am not teaching. However, my brother does teach high school English and I will run this past him. Thanks,
I wouldn't know how to do it. You might consider going to www.SheroesCentral.com and posting it there in one of the education or reading message boards (or both). Sheroes is a message board with members ranging all over the world, and this is something they might back. Be sure to drop a message to the site administrators when you do post so they know you're kosher.
Jack-
I am interested and I know another member of the staff is interested as well. Please know that You Tube is blocked at our school and a lot of other ones in the area. How about using Teacher Tube which is not blocked.
Hi Jack
When I return to school I will ask,,,, Barb our chem teacher works more with junior than I. Seniors and freshmen are my usual students... If you can find Barb Deardorff.. we signed up at the same time she can put you in touch with our SAT canidates
Jack,
I like the idea of students making vocabulary videos. Can you showcase another video besides the "repudiate" video? I would like to pass this idea on to my English Department at Watertown High, and while that video might appeal to some students, I'm not sure that using that particular video will entice my English teachers.

Thanks for the invite for the NYC kids. I will forward this to colleagues at two different schools who might be able to get some kids to submit to the contest.
Thanks so much!!! I have been wanting to add a "fun" element to my ACT Prep class; the contest is perfect:)
I tried to sign up my email address on the site in two different areas and it said it was rejected. Please add my email address to the contest pencilbo@websterpsb.org
Also does the video only focus on one word? Or can a few words be in each video?
Thanks Again:)

Thanks Jack, I will pass this on to my co-workers and friends in other districts.
Thanks. I have passed the link along to our Director of Instructional Technology. We will check it out and possibly pass the information on to the schools in our county. I will be able to pass along any interests to you. Thanks again! It sounds like an interesting approach to vocabulary.

Hi Jack,
Tell me more about the contest please. How did you find me? This is my first experience in wiki etc. Thanks. Liz
Aloha e Jack,
This contest looks great! I just called my husband who is the Media teacher at another school and told him about it. He plans to use this as a project in his classes. I'll pass the word over hear as best I can.
