Hi Tracey, have to admit that I had to look up what an expository essay was again. Do you know about Study Guides? I use there guides when I want a quick review about things from Problem Based Learning to MLA Style Guides. Anyway, I would use Google News to have students research a topic. It allows student to look through newspaper and create research feeds that they can create an email alert for or embed in a start page. These are the things we will be going over on Monday. If you do it before than, I could do a Skype call and be a guest speaker to your class to show them how to do it. If this interest you we could set up a day and time either on Thursday or Friday. Let me know if you want to try.
I understand. But like anything else it takes awhile to get into a rhythm. Try to set aside an hour a week to participate in these activities and you will be well on your way to becoming a networked learner. What have you been doing in your class this week? Have you had a chance to read Five Minds yet? What did you think?

I am sorry for the reply too.
I couldn't access the classroom20 in the past few weeks, I don't know why, maybe the website@NING server is slow to China IP addresses.
