About Me
I am a high school Spanish teacher and technology aficionado. I am looking to learn as much as I can about how to integrate technology into foreign language classes because no one is meeting those needs for us in our district. I serve as a kind of departmental Instructional Technologist even though I don't carry the title. Other than that, I love my job, I love teaching a language, I am an avid learner, and reader. If you are a foreign language teacher who would like to network and talk to another language teacher, email or something sometime!

I just added a group that I think you might be interested in, “Instructional Technologists.” I am hoping this group can grow and we will be able to support each other and collaborate so that we can better support our colleagues.

Hi Amy. I was wondering if your students would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. Perhaps you have some educator contacts you could direct me to. You can view contest details at Please let me know. Thanks!

Dear Amy,

We already have the website of our project finished and we’d like to share it with you.

The goal of Bablingua is to offer good audiovisual materials filmed in Hispanic countries that can help teachers to enrich their classes. In the website there are short videos, long videos, vocabulary cards and a blog with free activities, games and new ideas for the foreign language class.

Please, visit us at :, and let us know your opinion, comments and ideas you have to improve it.
