Hey parents and students! Now that we have spent a week talking about the needs of animals, now we will spend time talking about the basic needs of plants. For example: plants need air, water, and light. We are going to grow some of our very own plants!

Students and Parents!
This is what our first grade class will be learning about for the month of March: Characteristics and Interactions of Living Organisms. We will get the chance to do hands on activities that help us understand more about both plants and animals. In the next posts, parents, be looking for lessons that you can already be working on with their children. This will only help when we talk about these topics in class, if you have already discussed them at home.
