About Me: I work in a small k-8 school. I'm primarily the "computer teacher" though I also provide support for 100+ Apple laptops and desktop machines.
I've been providing technology support for students and teachers for about half of my 30+ years of teaching.

I just found this site in the last 2 weeks. After reading through a few of the discussions and groups I thought it a good idea to join and try to become more involved with the groups here.

I'll be most interested in seeing what other k-8 teachers are doing with students as far as "tech" is considered. I'm in an all Macintosh environment (much to the chagrin of our district's heirarchy!) so will be looking for ideas and apps that work on OSX PowerPC machines.

Just about all of our programs run on the MAC side except we have MS Office for Windows only.
