- I taught social studies for 15 years in a traditional school setting, mainly teaching International Baccalaureate and Advanced Placement Psychology. I left teaching 5 years ago due to my frustration with the system and high value on testing results only. Now, I am back teaching and helping to open a new charter school in our district (still public education) that approaches learning with students engaged in mainly project based learning.
