About Me
Brandon is currently a graduate student in Drexel University's Digital Media program and teacher of technology for the School District of Philadelphia. He earned his M.Ed. in Youth and Family Education from The Pennsylvania State University in August 2008. He also earned his B.A. in Elementary Education with a Specialty in Video Communications from Arcadia University, and holds a Pennsylvania Instructional I Certificate in Elementary Education. The use of technology is, and always has been, a primary interest of his, and has always permeated all of his professional, recreational, and social endeavors. Because of his abilities and comfort, Brandon is often the "go-to guy" for technology and multimedia assistance and endeavors for his peers and colleagues.

His passions include emerging technologies such as Web 2.0, the teaching and learning process, and youth and adult leadership development in non-traditional learning environments such as summer camps. Brandon is a lifelong camp person, and has spent the past 20 summers at Golden Slipper Camp, an overnight camp in Pennsylvania, as a camper, counselor, activity instructor, Program Director, and CIT Program Coordinator. Additionally, Brandon has been known as “The Blog Guy” for the past few summers as he roams the camp with his podcasting microphone and blogging mind intact, ready to document the magic of the summer for the community to enjoy.

Brandon is currently exploring and applying innovative ways to introduce digital media technology into the teaching and learning process, including the classroom, staff training, the camp program, and off-season communities, but welcomes all technology-related opportunities and requests.
