Dana Marek's Page

Dana, I started a wiki with my 4th grade ESL students. I use it to post assignments, videos about authors or illustrators we are studying, websites I want them to use like Spelling City or Study Stacks for vocabulary review. They write sentences for vocab. words in the discussion part and each has a page for writing lengthier responses to readings that we are doing. They can also do a short book report about a book they are reading in English by adding an avatar from VOKI. You can post "how to" videos from YouTube for sites like Glogster.
